Calamian Tagbanua, Palawan, Philippines.
A Tagbanua woman arriving back to her village on Coron Island after harvesting seaweed nearby. In 1998, the Certificate of Ancestral Domain Title (CADT) was awarded to the Tagbanwa of Coron Island, comprising over more than 22,000 hectares of land and sea. It gives the Tagbanua the right to manage the area and preserve its rich marine and land resources which have sustained them for centuries. However, a number of outsiders still fish within the Tagbanua territory. (Palawan, Coron, Philippines)
